I prefer carrier pigeons or the Pony Express, but I bet I'll love your email.

Two doors

Bring me a brief. Something specific and yours. A launch, a position, a campaign, a voice, a pitch you have to win. It comes straight to me, and we talk about the idea before anybody talks about money.

Already know what you need? If it’s a landing page that answers your customers in your own voice, I built a product for exactly that. Packaged. Fast. Fixed-scope. It will serve you faster than I will.

The method is public. It’s called Good Press, and every part of it is published free. What you hire is the guy who built it, running it on your thing.

Not ready to talk? Take the system with you. Good Press, the fillable PDF → When it works, you know where I am.

The shapes of work

Positioning sprint. You know what you do. Nobody can repeat it back to you. A short, intense pass that comes out the other side with a name, a position, a voice, and the sentences everyone on your team can actually say out loud.

Campaign concepting. You have a thing to say and a moment to say it in. Ideas, angles, and the hook that gets it carried further than you paid for.

Brand voice. Written down, with examples, so the next twelve people who write for you sound like you instead of like the internet.

Launch strategy. Nothing exists yet. We decide what it is, who it’s for, what makes it news, and what order it all happens in.

Fractional creative direction. I run creative for you without you hiring a department. Ongoing, retained, in your stand-ups if that’s what it takes.

Agency overflow. You’re an agency, you’re underwater, you have a pitch on Thursday. I white-label without ego and I don’t need my name on it. Some of the work I’m proudest of has somebody else’s logo on the invoice.

If the number in your head is small enough that you’re embarrassed to type it, type it anyway. Most of what’s on this site didn’t have a budget either. Some ideas don’t need money. They need a different weapon.

What happens when you email

You get me, not a form. I’ll ask what the idea is, what state it’s in, and when it has to move. If I’m the wrong weapon I’ll say so and point you at a better one. Nobody gets a deck before we’ve talked.

I run one or two projects at a time, and the email gets answered by me. Usually the same day, always in my own words.

Did you know?

18% of all email received is spam. 100% of Spam received is canned ham.

More than 3.8 billion email accounts exist worldwide. Unfortunately, 1.2 billion are Nigerian princes who want to steal your money.

A 1,000-person company spends $3 million a year fighting unwanted emails. Which is still better than spending $3 million a year fighting unwanted snails.
